Why choose to join our group?
Derby AA's sobriety focused groups will provide the best help possible - our meetings are far and away the most successful in the East Midlands. If you want to stop drinking then get in touch with us and problem drinking can be a thing of the past.
You don't need to make an appointment - if you'd like to stop drinking, just turn up to the newcomer's meeting. Anyone with a desire to stop drinking is welcome at our newcomer's meetings. Anyone who follows our suggestions will get and stay sober.
We are a non-religious group. Our only wish is to assure suffering alcoholics that they can find sobriety in A.A. without having to accept anyone else's beliefs or having to deny their own (except the belief that alcohol is helping you)
Meetings
Our Meetings are at the following times:
The Tuesday evening newcomer's meeting starts at 6:00 PM and finishes at 7:00 PM
The Friday evening meeting starts at 6:00 PM and runs to 7:00 PM
The Sunday evening meeting starts at 6:00 PM and runs until 7:00 PM

The building is non-smoking, although smoking is permitted outside. There is reasonable wheelchair access, as you can see in the above picture.
All of our meetings are for people with a desire to stop drinking completely and forever.
The "sober curious" need not apply. Best to wait until you have had a "rock bottom". Getting and staying sober is hard.
